What we collect
When you submit a form on this site we collect the name, email address, phone number, service interest and project details you choose to give us. If you send a manuscript or sample, we hold that file too.

- Manuscript files, samples and briefs you send us
- Billing details processed by our payment provider (we never store full card numbers)
- Standard analytics: pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, device type
Why we hold it
We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry, prepare a written scope, and deliver work you have commissioned. We use analytics to understand which pages are useful and to measure advertising. We do not sell personal data to anyone, and we do not share manuscripts with third parties outside the freelancers assigned to your project, all of whom work under confidentiality agreements.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Project records and invoices are retained for seven years where tax law requires it. Manuscripts and creative files are deleted 12 months after a project closes unless you ask us to keep them for a future edition.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies: one to remember whether you have dismissed a message, and analytics cookies that measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Under the UK and EU GDPR and the CCPA you may also object to processing or request that your data be transferred elsewhere. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Confidentiality of your work
Your manuscript is yours. We will sign a mutual NDA before you send anything if you ask. Freelancers are contractually bound to confidentiality, are given access only to the project they are working on, and must destroy their copies at the end of an engagement.
