Prices you can see before you call.
Three packages for authors who want the whole job done, and à la carte pricing for everyone else. Every quote is fixed and itemised in writing before you pay anything.
Three ways to publish a finished manuscript.
Prices assume a manuscript of up to 80,000 words. Longer books, illustrated books and complex non-fiction are quoted individually — usually within 15% of these figures.

Packages are paid in stages against delivered work, never in advance of it. Nothing here includes a royalty share — retailers pay you directly, and we take none of it.
Or buy exactly one thing.
Starting prices for individual services. Around 40% of our work is a single job, and there is no penalty for hiring us that way.

The things people email us about at 11pm.
Do you take a percentage of royalties?
No. Retailers pay you directly into your own bank account. We charge for work performed and nothing afterwards. Any company that charges you production fees and takes a royalty share is being paid twice for the same book.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Packages are split across milestones — typically a third to begin, a third at draft delivery, a third before publication. Instalments are tied to delivered work, so you are never far ahead of what you have received.
What if the quote changes mid-project?
It does not, unless you ask for something outside the agreed scope — and then we quote that separately in writing before doing it. Scope creep is our problem to manage, not a bill to pass on.
Are these prices in US dollars?
Yes, and we invoice in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD and AUD at the prevailing rate. Card, bank transfer and PayPal are all fine.
Is there a refund if I change my mind?
Unstarted work is refunded in full. Work in progress is refunded pro rata for anything not yet delivered. The full terms are on our refund policy page, in plain English.
Want a price for your actual book?
Package prices are a starting point. Send us your word count and where the manuscript stands, and we'll return an itemised quote within one business day.
