Interior Formatting & Typesetting
The part readers never notice until it is done badly.
Interiors that look like they came from a trade house.
Interior design is invisible when it works. Margins that suit the trim, a text block that does not fight the gutter, chapter openers that feel deliberate. We typeset in InDesign and Vellum rather than exporting a Word file and hoping, which is why our interiors clear print vendor preflight without a resubmission.
Everything in the standard scope.
Listed so you can compare us line by line against anyone else you are considering.

The working process, stage by stage.
Trim and spec
We settle trim size, paper stock, and typeface together — decisions that change your page count, your spine, and your unit cost.
Sample spread
You approve a set of sample pages before the whole book is flowed, so the look is agreed early.
Full typeset
The manuscript is flowed, then read line by line for bad breaks. Front and back matter are built to trade convention.
Files and proof
Print PDF, EPUB, and Kindle files go out together, and we check the vendor's digital proof with you before you approve the print run.
About formatting & typesetting.
Print and e-book at the same time?
Yes, and they are produced from one source so a late correction lands in both formats instead of drifting apart.
My book has tables, footnotes, and photos.
That is standard for our non-fiction work. Complex layouts are quoted per page rather than as a flat fee, and we will show you a sample spread first.
Can you fix a file another vendor made?
Send it over. We audit it free and tell you whether it is a repair job or a rebuild — repairs are usually far cheaper.

Ghostwriting & Book Writing
You talk, we write. A dedicated ghostwriter builds your book from interviews, notes, or a half-finished draft — in your voice, not ours.
